Job Title: Associate Manager Business Finance

Position Summary The Associate Manager Business Finance will play a critical role in supporting business leadership through financial planning, analysis, reporting, and control. This role focuses on ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, statutory compliance, and insightful MIS to enable informed decision-making. The position requires a Chartered Accountant with hands-on experience in accounting, compliance, reconciliations, budgeting, and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations & Control

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, invoicing, accruals, provisions, and ledger maintenance.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in ERP systems (Tally, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Maintain strong internal controls and adherence to company policies.

2. Reconciliations & Period Closures

- Review and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor accounts, customer balances, and inter-company transactions.
- Identify gaps, investigate variances, and drive corrective actions.

3. Statutory & Tax Compliance

- Oversee GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation of GST returns, and audit support.
- Manage TDS compliance including deduction, deposit, and filing of returns (24Q, 26Q).
- Ensure proper documentation and readiness for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants to ensure timely closure of audit points.

4. MIS, Reporting & Business Support

- Prepare and present monthly MIS, financial dashboards, and variance analysis.




- Support business leaders with insights on cost control, profitability, and project-level financial performance.
- Develop financial models and summaries for management review.

5. Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow

- Support preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Track actuals vs budget and highlight deviations with action points.
- Monitor cash flows and working capital; ensure fund availability for business operations.

6. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

- Oversee vendor payments, aging, and reconciliation.
- Resolve escalations related to invoices, payments, and documentation.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and internal teams.

7. Process Improvement & Automation

- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and turnaround time.
- Drive automation and system improvements in accounting and reporting.
- Support implementation of current finance tools and best practice.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.
- MBA (Finance) or certifications in ERP, GST, or financial modeling will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 0-2 years of relevant experience in business finance, accounting, audit, or corporate finance.
- Strong knowledge of IGAAP, GST, TDS, and Indian regulatory frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Tally, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Experience in project-based or infrastructure/engineering environments is a plus.
