1. Having robust technical knowledge of Indirect and Direct tax Laws.
2. Responsible for ensuring tax compliance requirements are delivered timely and accurately for all in-scope taxes, i.e. Income tax, GST, Transfer pricing
3. Ensuring corporate tax return filings and payments, working closely with external advisers where required.
4. Ensure that all positions taken in filed tax returns are technically robust, and are adequately supported and documented so that all tax submissions are audit ready
5. Representation before the Tax Authorities. managing all tax assessments/ audits / refunds / responses / submission to show cause notices with a handsome approach
6. Partnering with Management in System Transitioning, Group restructuring, Process Implementation, Automation, updates on changes in law, latest Judiciary Pronouncements.
7. Review tax accounting, provision and Litigation status and updating management on developments and changes in law.
8. Laying down internal controls for compliance activities, managing effective tax rate, review and advise of tax provision in the books.
9.



Managing Tax assessments, audit and investigations which includes interaction with stake holders, preparation and review of submission technically, liaising with Tax authority, review of orders and suggest future course of action.
10. Keep a continuous track of tax related disputes and devise effective strategy to manage audits, appeals and other queries raised by tax authorities in order to achieve optimal outcome for Organization

Skill Requirement

1. Qualified CA with a Legal background will be desirable.
2. Should possess 6+ years of experience in the Taxation function, working in Wealth, NBFC or broking industry is preferable.
3. Should possess strong technical capabilities in the areas of corporate tax and GST
4. To lead and supervise the team, should have managed Tax compliances, Advisory and litigations both for direct and indirect taxes.
5. Should be articulate in speech and a confident personality.
