Role Description The Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology is a full-time, on-site position based at Amity University’s Patna campus. The role involves delivering high-quality lectures and seminars in clinical psychology, guiding students through practical applications, and supervising clinical training and internships where relevant. The faculty member will develop and update course curricula, design assessments, and ensure alignment with institutional standards and accreditation requirements.





Daily responsibilities include conducting and publishing research in clinical psychology, mentoring students on research projects, participating in academic committees, and contributing to departmental development. The role also requires active engagement in student advising, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Psychology, with specialized knowledge in clinical psychology and related areas.

Demonstrated experience in University Teaching and Teaching, including classroom instruction and student mentoring.

Proficiency in Curriculum Development, course design, and academic program enhancement.

Established ability in Research, including designing studies, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and securing collaborations.

Relevant postgraduate degree (preferably PhD or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology or a closely related discipline.

Familiarity with clinical supervision, ethical practice standards, and student support in applied settings.

Solid communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to teach diverse cohorts.
