Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Optimize Azure SQL databases through indexing, query tuning, and execution plan analysis.
- Develop and maintain stored procedures, views, and efficient database schemas.
- Troubleshoot application and database performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Data Engineering, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

- Robust expertise in Python and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Hands-on experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, API security, and backend architecture.
- Extensive experience with Azure SQL ( Must have ).
- Expertise in SQL Query Optimization, Indexing Strategies, Execution Plans, Stored Procedures, and Performance Tuning.




- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.
- Knowledge of Authentication & Authorization (OAuth, JWT, RBAC).
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
