Test Administrator cum Proctor (Invigilator)

Job Purpose:

To ensure the fair, secure, and smooth conduct of highstakes language proficiency examinations by supervising candidates, enforcing test regulations, and maintaining the integrity of the testing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Exam Supervision

Monitor candidates during examinations to prevent malpractice.

Ensure compliance with test centre rules, exam protocols, and security procedures.

- Technical & Administrative Duties

Set up examination rooms and equipment (computers, audio systems, ID verification tools).

Assist candidates with login, registration, and technical troubleshooting.

Record attendance and maintain accurate documentation of test sessions.

- Security & Integrity

Verify candidate identity using approved methods (photo ID, biometric checks).

Report irregularities, misconduct, or technical issues promptly to the Test Centre Manager.

Safeguard exam materials and ensure confidentiality of test content.





- Candidate Support

Provide explicit instructions and guidance before and during the test.

Maintain a calm, professional environment to reduce candidate anxiety.

Offer basic assistance without compromising exam integrity.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelors degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Strong command of English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- Familiarity with computerbased testing systems and basic IT troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication, observation, and problemsolving skills.
- High ethical standards and attention to detail.
