Position: Plant Head

Location: Naviyani Gujarat

Reporting to: Group Operations Head

Gender: Male

Plant Head: Accountable for end-to-end operations, ensuring the facility hits production targets while strictly adhering to strict automotive quality standards (IATF 16949), maintaining aggressive cost metrics, and driving continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities

- Production & Operations Management: Direct daily operations to meet master production schedules. Ensure optimal line balancing, maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and minimize downtime.
- Quality & Compliance: Champion a "Zero Defect" culture. Oversee adherence to strict OEM standards, IATF 16949 compliance, and drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for customer complaints.
- Cost & Budget Control: Manage plant budgets and drive margin improvement through cost reduction and waste elimination.
- Supply Chain & Inventory: Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure raw material availability while keeping Work-In-Progress (WIP) and finished goods stock at optimal levels.
- Maintenance & Asset Management:



Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for critical machinery to prevent production disruptions.
- Health, Safety & Workplace (HSE): Ensure 100% compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety regulations on the factory floor.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Diploma/ Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Production, or Automotive Engineering
- Experience: Typically 15 to 20 years in auto-components, Seating Automotive or Trim Industry or vehicle assembly, with at least 5 years serving in a senior plant leadership role.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Strong knowledge of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices.
- Deep understanding of automotive production planning and control.
- Exceptional cross-functional team management, strategic decision-making, and labor relations/Industrial Relations skills.
