Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based at the Supreme Knowledge Foundation campus in Chandannagar. This role involves guiding prospective students and families through the admissions process, including responding to inquiries, providing information about programs, and conducting campus tours and information sessions.

The Admissions

Counselor will review applications, support evaluation and selection processes, and maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and outcomes. Daily responsibilities include engaging with schools and partners, participating in outreach events,



and supporting admission campaigns to increase awareness and enrollment. The role also requires close collaboration with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth transition for admitted students and a positive applicant experience.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with students, families, and stakeholders.

Candidates should possess customer service and sales-related skills to respond to inquiries, address concerns, and effectively present SKF’s programs and offerings.

Candidates should possess education-related skills or experience in academic counseling, student advising, or working within an educational institution.

Good organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in handling applications, documentation, and follow-up communications.

Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry; familiarity with CRM or admissions software is an advantage.

Ability to communicate in English and local languages relevant to West Bengal; strong presentation skills are beneficial.

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Counseling, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in admissions or student-facing roles is an added advantage.
