Role Context:

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience (or Diploma holders with 7+ years of experience) specializing in SolidWorks. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of sheet metal, metal fabrication, and welding, along with knowledge of standardization and automation processes. Proficiency in drawing symbols, including welding and fabrication symbols, is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for client interactions and team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

- Create and manage parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
- Apply standard drawing practices, including the use of welding symbols and tolerances.
- Develop designs considering sheet metal properties and fabrication processes.
- Implement knowledge of standard materials used in fabrication.
- Integrate welding practices into designs, ensuring accurate representation of welding symbols.
- Utilize intermediate quality tools and adhere to standardization processes.
- Effectively communicate complex design concepts through both verbal and written channels.
- Manage client communication, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Coordinate multiple projects and maintain high standards of documentation.
- Adapt to new technologies and maintain flexibility in managing tasks.
- Work collaboratively with team members, sharing knowledge and assisting in problem-solving.
- Participate in continuous learning and contribute to team development.

Experience & Qualification

- BE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Diploma.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a BE Mechanical degree or 7+ years with a Diploma in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and familiarity with MS Office.
