Careers Get in Touch [email protected] View all roles Accounts and Financial Controller Location Mumbai Start Date Immediate joiners preferred CTC (Annual) ₹6 LPA – ₹8 LPA Experience Required Minimum 3 years About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly responsible Accounts and Financial Controller to manage our financial operations and ensure transparency in reporting. This role is central to strengthening financial discipline, driving accurate decision-making, and supporting the founders with timely insights. You will oversee accounts payable/receivable, credit control, cash flow, inventory accounting, compliance, and audits, while preparing twice-weekly MIS reports that serve as the backbone of strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities Verify and approve vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Track receivables, follow up on overdue accounts, and maintain updated collections records.

Prepare daily cash flow statements and reconcile bank transactions.

Evaluate customer creditworthiness and define approval limits.

Monitor customer credit utilization and enforce compliance.

Create weekly collections, follow-up schedules and escalate overdue accounts.

Conduct monthly stock reconciliations and investigate variances.

Report losses from inquiry, damage, or theft with supporting explanations.

Update and value inventory accurately, aligning with approvals for write-offs.

Prepare and share weekly MIS (P&L;, payroll, cash flow, KPIs, cash flow).

Maintain compliance reports for GST, TDS, payroll, and other statutory obligations.





Highlight financial risks and present contingency plans.

Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

Respond audit queries within deadlines and implement recommendations.

Update SOPs based on audit findings.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose margin-improvement strategies.

Provide ad-hoc financial data for expansion, funding, or operational decisions.

Develop customized reports and dashboards as needed.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CA preferred).

Minimum 3 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or audit functions.

Solid knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting tools such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar.

Advanced skills in Excel, MIS reporting, and financial analytics.

Preferred Skills Experience in inventory accounting and reconciliation.

Strong grasp of cash flow management and credit control.

Ability to design and implement process-driven financial systems.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with founders, auditors, and teams.

Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and opportunities.
