Company Description Healing Saathi Animal Sanctuary & Veterinary Hospital is a registered non-profit organization based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, dedicated to rescuing, treating, rehabilitating, and providing lifelong care to abandoned, injured, disabled, and special-needs animals. The sanctuary is home to over 300 rescued animals and combines compassionate care with advanced veterinary treatment, hydrotherapy, and long-term rehabilitation.

The organization manages emergency rescues, critical care, adoption initiatives, and community outreach to create a safer and more compassionate world for animals.

Role Description The Accountant role at Healing Saathi is a full-time, on-site position based in Dehradun. The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, record all income and expenses, and maintain accurate ledgers for the sanctuary and veterinary hospital operations.





Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, processing vendor payments, handling payroll, and ensuring compliance with relevant non-profit and statutory regulations. The role involves reconciling bank accounts, supporting audits, maintaining documentation for grants and donations, and generating financial reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and program teams to track project-wise spending and support transparent financial reporting.

Eligibility:

1–2 years of accounting experience (Mandatory)

Freshers are not eligible

Comfortable working in an NGO environment

Willing to work under the guidance of a Chartered Accountant (CA)

Good knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, bookkeeping, GST, and TDS
