Role Description The Accountant role at GG Trading Enterprises Pvt Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Edappally,Kochi. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts. The Accountant prepares invoices, monitors accounts payable and receivable, assists with payroll entries, and supports monthly and annual closing processes.

The individual will help prepare financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.



Collaboration with operations and management teams to provide accurate financial insights and support audit and tax-related documentation is also a key part of the role.

Qualifications Strong foundation in accounting principles, including general ledger management, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.

Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, reconciliations, and basic data analysis.

Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and expense tracking with attention to detail.

Experience assisting with month-end and year-end closing, budgeting support, and working with auditors or tax consultants.

Valuable analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, ACCA) are an advantage.

Prior experience in accounting within distribution, trading, or automotive sectors is beneficial, along with familiarity with local regulatory requirements.
