Seven Even Consultancy Private Limited (SECPL), a multi-vertical consulting firm based in Patna, is hiring a full-time Accountant to own its day-to-day accounting and statutory compliance function.

You will manage complete bookkeeping on Zoho Books, GST and TDS compliance end-to-end, bank and vendor reconciliations, Monthly MIS reporting, and finance support for government tenders, including EMD, security deposit and bank guarantee tracking, project-wise costing, and receivables follow-up with government departments. You will also support Balance Sheet finalization and internal/statutory audits.

This is a high-ownership role reporting directly to the Director, ideal for someone who wants exposure across the full finance function of a fast-growing, government-facing consulting company rather than a narrow slice of it.

Key responsibilities:

- Daily accounting entries in Zoho Books with project-wise tagging and complete documentation.
- GSTR-1 / GSTR-3B filing, GSTR-2B ITC reconciliation, and GST-TDS reconciliation on government receipts.
- TDS computation, monthly deposit, quarterly returns (24Q/26Q) and Form 16/16A issuance.
- Monthly payroll processing with EPF, ESIC and Bihar Professional Tax compliance.
- Monthly MIS pack — P&L;, receivables/payables ageing, project profitability and cash-flow — by the 7th of each month.
- Bank reconciliations across all company accounts; vendor and customer ledger confirmations.




- EMD / Bank Guarantee / Security Deposit register maintenance with timely refunds and renewals.
- Balance Sheet finalization support and audit query resolution.

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com or Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance or Accounting; CA-Inter / CMA-Inter an advantage.
- 1-3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or project-based services environment.
- Demonstrated end-to-end experience with GST and TDS compliance cycles (computation, payment, filing, reconciliation).
- Proficiency in Zoho Books (preferred) or Tally / SAP / QuickBooks with willingness to work on Zoho Books.
- Advanced MS Excel — pivot tables, lookups, reconciliation workflows.
- Familiarity with GSTN, TRACES, EPFO and ESIC portals.
- Exposure to government billing, tenders or EMD/BG handling is a solid plus.
- High integrity, attention to detail and ability to own statutory deadlines independently.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Patna. This is a work-from-office role.
