We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Account Manager to lead a portfolio of UK accounting clients while managing a team of accounting professionals. This role combines technical accounting expertise, client relationship management, team leadership, and business advisory responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK accounting and tax regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build long-term client relationships while maintaining high service standards. Key Responsibilities

✅ Manage and grow a portfolio of UK-based clients, acting as their primary point of contact.

✅ Build and maintain solid client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.

✅ Review and approve client-facing communications, financial reports, accounts, VAT returns, and other deliverables.

✅ Prepare and finalize:

Year-end accounts

VAT returns

Corporation Tax computations

Management reports

Other statutory compliance submissions

✅ Review submissions to HMRC and Companies House before authorization.

✅ Provide guidance and support on accounting, tax, and compliance matters.

✅ Conduct client meetings and advisory discussions, responding to technical queries and business challenges.

✅ Identify opportunities to introduce additional services, including:

Tax Planning

Compliance Services

Advisory & Consulting Services

Payroll and Bookkeeping Solutions

✅ Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 3-5 accounting professionals.

✅ Allocate workload effectively and monitor team performance and productivity.





✅ Ensure client profitability, retention, compliance, and timely delivery of services.

✅ Collaborate with internal departments to improve processes and service quality.

Candidate

RequirementsQualifications

CA / ACCA qualified with 5+ years of UK Accounting experience, OR

MBA with 5-7 years of UK Accounting experience, OR

10+ years of Indian Accounting experience with strong leadership exposure.

Experience

Proven experience managing UK accounting and tax clients.

Experience reviewing year-end accounts, VAT returns, and statutory filings.

Hands-on experience in client relationship management and team leadership.

Key Skills

Strong knowledge of UK Accounting, Taxation, and Compliance.

Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

Strong analytical, review, and problem-solving skills.
