Role & responsibilities

Market Research & Business Development

- Conduct on-ground market research on SME businesses across Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar
- Visit commercial areas, industrial estates, and retail markets to understand the local business landscape and identify potential clients
- Build and maintain a database of business contacts, market insights, and research findings
- Identify opportunities for the companys advisory services within the local SME ecosystem

Relationship Building

- Build and maintain relationships with local chartered accountants, lawyers, business consultants, and banking professionals
- Attend local business networking events and industry meetups to grow the company’s professional network in Gujarat
- Represent the company professionally in all client and partner interactions
- Develop a referral network of professionals who can support the company’s advisory services

Financial Analysis & Documentation

- Prepare financial summaries, business profiles, and research reports for client advisory projects
- Research local lending products, MSME schemes (Mudra, SIDBI, CGTMSE), and financing options available through banks and NBFCs
- Organize and maintain client files,



project documentation, and internal records
- Assist in creating standardized templates and processes for the company’s consulting engagements
- Coordinate with the founder on weekly reporting, project updates, and strategic planning

Preferred candidate profile

Requirements

- CA (Inter or qualified), semi-CA, or MBA in Finance / Business Administration from a recognized Gujarat institution
- 2-5 years of experience in business development, financial advisory, lending, audit, or consulting
- Strong understanding of financial statements, business valuations, and SME operations
- Excellent communication skills in Gujarati, Hindi, and English
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with remote supervision from Canada
- Comfortable with extensive fieldwork this is not a desk job
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with business owners, CAs, and lawyers
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and basic CRM or tracking tools
- Two/ Four-wheeler and valid driving license for daily field visits across Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar
