Role Description This is a full time, on-site Academic Counselor role based in Delhi, India.

The Academic

Counselor will guide students in selecting appropriate courses, programs, and institutions aligned with their interests, strengths, and career goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing student profiles and academic records, and providing tailored academic advising and career counseling. The role involves explaining admission processes, application timelines, and education pathways, as well as maintaining accurate records of student interactions and progress.

The Academic

Counselor will collaborate with internal teams to improve counseling materials,



participate in workshops or information sessions, and contribute to outreach initiatives that support student engagement.

Qualifications

- Strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills, with the ability to provide structured guidance to diverse learners.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal explanations and concise written documentation.
- Career Counseling capabilities to help students understand career options, job market trends, and suitable education routes.
- Background or formal education in Education or a related field, with an understanding of academic systems and curricula.
- Empathy, active listening, and a student-centric mindset to support individuals from varied backgrounds.
- Organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple student cases and deadlines.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and online research tools; experience with counseling or CRM software is an advantage.
- Relevant work experience in academic counseling, student services, or education consulting is preferred.
