THE TWO SEATS

BOOKKEEPING ASSOCIATE - the data engine of the practice:

- Process client records accurately into Dext, QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Own bookkeeping and bank reconciliations across a client portfolio
- Prepare UK VAT return workings
- Keep client data clean, current and reconciled
- Meet strict deadlines, every time

YEAR END ASSOCIATE - from clean books to filed accounts:

- Prepare year-end working papers to review standard
- Draft statutory accounts for UK limited companies under senior review
- Support corporation tax (CT600) workings
- Post adjustments and finalise trial balances
- Meet statutory filing deadlines, every time

THE PATH




Accuracy and speed are exactly what we promote on. Seniors review your work and teach. The route from Associate to Senior is visible and recent, with performance reviewed every 6 months and progression on merit. Studying CA or ACCA? Welcomed and supported.

WHAT WE REQUIRE

- 1.5+ years of hands-on UK bookkeeping or accounting practice experience
- CA or ACCA - qualified, finalist or actively studying
- Bookkeeping and reconciliation experience; year-end or VAT exposure an advantage
- Dext, QuickBooks Online or Xero exposure
- Solid written English; confident spoken English
- Meticulous accuracy, pride in the work, hunger to grow

WHAT WE OFFER

- 25,000 - 40,000 per month, based on skills, experience and communication standard
- Performance reviews every 6 months; increases earned on contribution
- A visible, real route from Associate to Senior

CONDITIONS

- Dedicated full-time only - no other employment, freelance or side business, including evenings and weekends
- Minimum 3-year commitment - we invest in longevity and growth
- Strictly UK hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm UK time, plus one additional weekend day each month
