Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead and grow our Agency Channel business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting insurance agents, developing high-performing agency teams, driving business growth through agents, and achieving sales targets while maintaining strong relationships with channel partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Recruit, onboard, and develop insurance agents/advisors within the assigned territory.
- Build and manage a productive agency team to drive business growth.
- Generate business through the agency channel by motivating and supporting agents.
- Coach, train, and mentor agents on products, sales techniques, and compliance.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
- Monitor agent productivity and implement strategies to improve performance.
- Conduct regular field visits, joint sales calls, and customer meetings with agents.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand the agency network.
- Ensure timely activation and retention of agents.
- Maintain strong relationships with agents and resolve their queries promptly.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, business forecasts,



and market feedback to management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- 37 years of experience in the Insurance Agency Channel.
- Proven experience in team handling, agent recruitment, and business generation through agents.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven setting.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
