Role & responsibilities

- Profound knowledge of environmental legislations/environmental management systems/industrial waste management/pollution control arrangements & mitigative measures is must.
- Thorough experience in obtaining enviro-legal permission such as Environmental Clearance (EC), Consent to Establish (CTE/NOC), Consent to Operate (CTO/CC&A;), Rule-9 & EPR permissions from concerned statutory authority (such as GPCB/CPCB/SEAC/SEIAA/MoEFCC)
- Exposure of enviro-legal liaison work with concerned statutory authority as mentioned above.
- Preparation of technical responses/reports/presentations for obtaining enviro-legal permissions.
- Preparation of technical documents (such as reply of show cause & direction notice as well as revocation of closure direction etc. issued by the GPCB/CPCB).




- Preparation & submission of monthly & annual returns as applicable under the various environmental regulations (such as GPCB Monthly Patrak, Form-IV, Form-V, EC compliance report, XGN based online manifest/returns etc.).
- Co-ordinates with workplace consultants/auditors/external agencies for env. permissions/env. audit reports/technical reports etc.
- Exposure to industrial effluent treatment, environmental monitoring & laboratory analysis, ESG reporting is an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

- Having at least 4 - 5 years of experience in environmental consultancy firm OR having robust exposure of enviro-legal work in industrial unit /corporate office of industrial group.
