Senior Accountant

Prova Advisors Private Limited (www.rovapartners.com) is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support U.S.-based clients across accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes for assigned clients
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial statements
- Finalize accounts and ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and delivered on time
- Review balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, investigate variances, and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Maintain organized workpapers and supporting documentation
- Coordinate directly with clients and internal team members to resolve accounting and reporting matters
- Review work prepared by junior team members and provide guidance and feedback
- Take ownership of client deliverables, deadlines, and follow-up items




- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting workflows

Qualifications

- CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA qualification required
- 4+ years of relevant US accounting experience
- Robust experience with U.S. accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and accounts finalization
- Strong understanding of financial statements, general ledger accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and other accounting systems or ERPs
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple client deadlines
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients or accounting firms is strongly preferred
