Territory Manager(Medical Representative)

Role Purpose:

A Medical Representative promotes and sells pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals. The role focuses on product awareness, relationship building, and achieving sales targets while maintaining scientific and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and clinics.
- Conduct regular visits to healthcare professionals to detail product advantages, usage, dosage, and scientific data.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors and chemists to ensure consistent prescription generation.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for assigned product lines.
- Plan daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules and maintain call records.
- Organise CMEs, product presentations, and promotional activities.
- Monitor competitor products, strategies, and market trends.
- Ensure availability and visibility of products at retail and wholesale points.
- Stay updated on medical knowledge, new therapies,



and industry developments.
- Submit daily reports, doctor coverage plans, and market feedback to management. 3

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain scientific information clearly and persuasively
- Good negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Selfmotivation, discipline, and a targetoriented mindset.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and pharmacology.
- Time management and territory management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools. 2

Educational Qualifications

- Graduate (preferably BSc / BPharma)
- MBA Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Experience

- 02-06 years of experience.
- Experience in a similar territory and C&D; /Diabetic Theraphy Is Must

Compensation

- Fixed salary
