Purpose/Objective

The purpose of this role is to deal with compliance of Indirect Taxation, creating and building strategic relationships with key stakeholders in Central/ State/ Local Govt.
bodies and working closely with Business Leaders and oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution with the collaboration of senior leadership and departmental heads.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Proficient in dealing with compliance of Indirect taxation particularly in GST, mapping of business transactions, and handling litigation for large manufacturing and widespread EPC business.
- Participating in business strategy related to business transactions, vetting of contracts, monitoring statutory advantages & collection of refund, representation to government on policy related issues, handling contract manufacturing business etc.
- Responsible for the Indirect Taxation related compliance/ controlling for all the Group Companies of Adani Group.
- Represent an issue pertaining to policy interpretation & clarification to the respective Authorities (i.
e.
Central / State Govt.




& Independent bodies) in conjunction with respective Business Team/ Consultant for resolving the disputes at Group level.
- Provide day-to-day advice/opinions and to formulate strategy to be adopted for a case/ matter at various forums.
- Maintaining & augmenting relationship with various government officials of various Departments / Ministries & Authorities.
- Creating and communicating a favorable image for entire Group Companies in front of the Government Departments / Ministries & Authorities.
- Help businesses on Procedural SOPs for compliance to cut down potential litigations.
Getting the Approvals, Permissions from the required Industry, doing follow-up with the Government Departments

Qualifications and Experience

Should have minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in Indirect Taxation, Corporate Affairs and Regulatory matters
