Summary :

An Accounts Receivable (AR) Team Lead oversees the team responsible for collecting payments, managing invoices, and resolving billing disputes. They ensure timely collections to maintain healthy cash flow, monitor team performance metrics (KPIs), mentor staff, and handle complex escalations, often reporting to an AR Manager or Controller

Key Skills:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) operations and at least 1 year of experience of leading a team.
- Robust understanding of AR processes, collections, billing
- Hands on experience of working in SAP/MS D365
- Any Graduate

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) operations including billing, collections, cash application, and customer account reconciliation.
- Lead the AR team by monitoring daily productivity, accuracy, and adherence to SLAs/KPIs.




- Review ageing reports and follow up on overdue invoices to ensure timely collections and reduction of outstanding balances.
- Ensure accurate cash application and allocation of customer payments in ERP systems such as SAP and MS D365.
- Reconcile customer accounts, investigate payment discrepancies, and resolve billing or collection disputes efficiently.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve invoice queries and payment issues.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities including AR reporting, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
- Prepare AR dashboards, ageing analysis, MIS reports, and KPI presentations for senior management review.
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance AR operational efficiency.
- Maintain strong accounting controls and compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Utilize MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, and dashboard preparation.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
