Job Description Summary

. Those in social sustainability at PwC will focus on providing consulting services related to topics such as social responsibility and impact, labour conditions, diversity and inclusion, product safety and more. You will analyse client needs, develop strategies to enhance social impact, and offer guidance and support to help clients integrate sustainable and socially responsible practices into their operations and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Openings in a Project Management Unit (PMU) for an ongoing Central Government project in Current Delhi:

Position 1: Technical Textiles Expert

Educational Qualifications

- B.Tech in Textile Technology / Bachelors of Fashion Technology from a recognized university/institution

- M.Tech in Textiles / MBA from a reputed institute

Desirable:

- Specialization in Technical Textiles, Nonwovens, Composites, or Allied Application Areas

Industry Experience

- 03-06 years of overall experience within which minimum 3 years in the Technical Textiles industry

- Hands-on experience in one or more sub-segments:



Meditech, Agrotech, Geotech, Buildtech, Mobiltech, Protech, Indutech, Sportech, Packtech, Hometech, Clothtech, or Oekotech

- Candidates with prior exposure to government-funded projects, industry bodies, or textile research associations will be preferred

Key Competencies

- Strong domain knowledge of technical textiles manufacturing, applications, and value chain

- Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment with agility and sensitivity

- Excellent research, data analysis, report writing, presentation, and communication skills

Position 2: Specialty Fibre Expert

Educational Qualifications

- B.Tech in Textile Chemistry / Textile Engineering or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university/institution

- M.Tech in Fibre Science / Fibre Technology / Polymer Science from a reputed institute
