Job Title: Project Manager Civil

Location: Kolkata, Dhulagarh (Travel Required basis Project Site)

Experience Required: civil construction/project execution, with robust expertise in AutoCAD and project management.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager Civil to lead end-to-end execution of construction projects, specifically in food manufacturing facilities and Class 1 (Grade A) warehouse infrastructure. The role demands strong technical capability, regulatory awareness, and hands-on site execution experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

- Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of food factory and Grade A warehouse construction projects.
- Develop detailed project timelines, resource plans, and cost estimates.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

2. Design & AutoCAD Management

- Prepare, review, and validate engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Ensure layouts meet food safety, hygiene zoning, and material flow requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and MEP teams.

3. Site Management

- Oversee daily site operations and construction activities.
- Ensure execution aligns with industrial flooring, drainage, insulation, and hygiene standards required for food factories.
- Monitor progress vs plan and drive corrective actions.

4. Contractor & Vendor Management

- Manage contractors, subcontractors, and specialized vendors (PEB structures, cold storage, flooring, clean rooms).
- Ensure timely procurement and installation of critical infrastructure.

5. Quality, Compliance & Food Safety Infrastructure

- Ensure compliance with FSSAI guidelines, HACCP principles, and other applicable food safety norms.




- Implement standards for pest control, drainage slope, washable surfaces, and controlled environments.
- Ensure warehouse compliance with Grade A specifications (high load-bearing floors, clear height, fire safety systems, dock systems).

6. Cost Control & Budgeting

- Track project costs and manage budgets effectively.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising compliance or quality.
- Prepare MIS reports for leadership review.

7. Stakeholder Coordination

- Act as the key point of contact for internal stakeholders, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with production, QA, and supply chain teams for facility readiness.
- Resolve technical and execution challenges proactively.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- PMP/PRINCE2 certification (preferred).

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong expertise in AutoCAD (2D/3D drafting and validation)
- Deep understanding of food factory layout planning and hygienic design
- Knowledge of Grade A warehouse standards and industrial infrastructure
- Project planning tools (MS Project/Primavera preferred)
- Strong contractor and cost management capability
- Leadership, problem-solving, and execution rigor

Preferred Industry Experience:

- Proven experience in setting up food processing/manufacturing plants
- Hands-on exposure to Class 1 / Grade A warehouse construction
- Experience in PEB structures, cold chain infra, and industrial flooring systems
- Prior work in FMCG capex projects
