About the Job

Role

The Head Sales & Marketing (Solar) is a full-time, on-site role, responsible for leading sales and marketing activities for the solar EPC business.

Location

Greater Kolkata Area, West Bengal

Experience

Minimum relevant experience of 3 - 5 Years in Solar Sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities and managing key customer accounts across C&I; and solar home rooftop segments.
- Creating market penetration plans and coordinating with technical and project teams to align proposals with client requirements.
- Leading and mentoring the sales team to conduct customer meetings, site visits and technical discussions with clients.
- Maintaining CRM records.
- Accountable for achieving revenue and margin targets, forecasting sales and preparing regular performance reports.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle, from lead generation to project commissioning.
- Build relationships with channel partners, EPC consultants, architects, builders, industries and government departments.

Qualifications

- Strong Sales Management skills, including business development, pipeline management and target achievement.




- Solid Client Relationship Management skills.
- Proven Team Management skills to lead and develop sales and marketing professionals.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area and travel across regions as required for business development.

Compensation & Earning Potential

- CTC: 20% over and above the current salary
- Strong performance-linked variable the more the team installs, the more you earn. No capping.
