RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant should have:
- Drafting, reviewing and vetting of litigation related pleadings, applications
- Drafting and responding to legal notices, representations, complaints, and correspondence before law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, and judicial forums
- Independently managing and assisting in criminal litigation, investigations, prosecutions, and defence strategies involving financial fraud, corporate misconduct, corruption, money laundering, cybercrime, and other economic offences
- Advising clients on matters arising under the BNS, BNSS, BSA, Negotiable Instruments Act, Prevention of Corruption Act, Prevention of Money Laundering Act, Companies Act, and other allied statutes
- Should have the analytical bent of mind, where he/she can give valid and effective solutions to Client. Should be aware of the changing legal scenario and predict outcomes with careful analysis of the case
- Candidate should have experience in handling Criminal Matters independently
- Candidate should have the capability of executing legal research with precision and proficiency in arguments
Essential Criteria:
- Qualified LLB or LLM or both from a premier law school in India or abroad (qualified to work in India).
- At least 3-5 years of demonstrated success across White Collar crimes and criminal litigation with a nationally recognised law firm.
- Solution oriented approach with proven ability to close matters independently with minimal to no partner supervision.
- Must be self-motivated, a team player and have leadership qualities.
