Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned qualified to join a renowned Footwear Company as Deputy General Manager Supply Chain & Logistics, based in Kolkata.
The ideal candidate will bring 20+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and distribution management, preferably from the manufacturing or retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supply Chain Strategy: Design and implement strategic supply chain and logistics plans aligned with business goals.
- Operations Management: Lead warehouse, procurement, and transport functions to ensure cost efficiency and service excellence.
- Inventory Optimization: Optimize inventory management systems and streamline end-to-end processes for improved turnaround.
- Vendor Management: Build and manage vendor and third-party logistics relationships for seamless operations.
- Process Improvement:



Drive operational excellence using data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum 20 years of hands-on experience in supply chain and logistics operations.
- Expertise: Proven knowledge in inventory control, distribution, warehousing, and vendor management.
- Leadership: Strong people management and analytical skills to lead large, cross-functional teams.
