- Responsible for collection, compilation and preparation of accounts, reports and documents and their submission
- Monitors effective record keeping
- Responsible for preparation of payable / payroll / receivable / income audit accounts, etc. as per organizational requirements
- Responsible for protection of confidentiality of documents / information
- All the related sections of Accounts departments including Accounts Payable , City Ledger, General Ledger, MIS functions, Direct/Indirect taxes, Payroll and unit treasury
- Assists in finalization of Accounts at year end
- Coordinates prompt collection and timely disbursement of payments
- Assist the Chief Accountant /Financial Controller in the preparation of the annual operational budget and monthly annual final accounts
- Recommends changes in policies,



systems and procedures to increase efficiency and improve service
- Responsible for adherence to all statutory and organizational requirements
- Recommends changes in policies, systems and procedures, to improve sectional efficiency of service levels
- To ensure proper control on systems and process
- To ensure continues guidance of operations controls to the other departments other units
