- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Carry out machining operations such as lathe turning, drilling, cutting, tapping, and grinding as per drawings and job requirements.
- Assemble and fit mechanical parts and components.
- Perform maintenance and repair work on machinery.
- Check alignment, clearances, and tolerances.
- Operate conventional workshop machines including lathe machines, drilling machines, cutting machines, pedestal grinders, and other fabrication equipment .
- Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
Preferred candidate profile
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Fitter trade.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
