Legal Manager Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, negotiate, and vet commercial agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs, lease agreements, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal advice to business teams on commercial, contractual, and operational matters.
- Manage litigation matters and coordinate with external advocates, consultants, and legal advisors.
- Handle notices, legal correspondence, disputes, arbitration matters, and recovery-related cases.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
- Support management in risk assessment and mitigation from a legal perspective.
- Maintain legal records, contracts repository, and case trackers.
- Assist in property-related documentation, registrations, and due diligence activities.
- Review and strengthen internal policies, processes, and legal controls.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Commercial, HR, Finance, Procurement, and Operations.

Qualifications & Experience




- LLB from a recognized university; LLM preferred.
- 6 7 years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal functions.
- Experience in manufacturing, building materials, FMCG, infrastructure, or related industries preferred.
- Solid understanding of contract law, commercial law, labor law, and dispute management.
- Experience in handling litigation and coordinating with external counsel.
