Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager in our Redevelopment team to drive the identification, evaluation, acquisition, and closure of redevelopment opportunities. The role requires strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management capabilities, and a deep understanding of the redevelopment ecosystem, including housing societies, regulatory authorities, and project feasibility assessment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end business development activities for redevelopment projects, including opportunity identification, market mapping, feasibility analysis, and preliminary due diligence.
- Source and evaluate redevelopment opportunities across housing societies, cluster redevelopment projects, and other urban renewal initiatives.
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with society members, managing committees, consultants, landowners, and government authorities.
- Conduct financial and commercial assessments to determine project viability and recommend acquisition strategies.
- Drive negotiations with stakeholders and support the execution of term sheets, development agreements, and other project-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including DCPR, RERA, municipal regulations, and redevelopment guidelines.
- Coordinate with legal, design,



finance, approvals, and project teams to facilitate seamless project acquisition and transition into execution.
- Liaise with municipal authorities and statutory bodies to support approvals and project commencement.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and policy developments to identify emerging redevelopment opportunities.
- Prepare business cases, management presentations, and project acquisition proposals for leadership review and approval.

Preferred Attributes

- Established network within housing societies, redevelopment consultants, and local authorities.
- Experience in cluster redevelopment, slum rehabilitation (SRA), or large-scale urban redevelopment projects.
- Solid understanding of redevelopment regulations, approvals, and stakeholder engagement processes.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Multilingual proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English will be an added advantage.
