Role & responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

- Lead and manage medium and large-scale pharmaceutical capital projects across global locations from concept development through commissioning and handover. •Ensure achievement of project objectives related to scope, cost, schedule, quality, compliance, and safety. •Drive effective project governance, risk management, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Engineering & Technical Excellence

- SME for HVAC system designs right from heat load calculations, air handling strategies, pressure cascade concepts, equipment sizing, ducting layouts, and control philosophies. •Provide technical leadership for the design, procurement, installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of pharmaceutical process equipment and HVAC systems. •Ensure engineering solutions support operational efficiency, product quality, regulatory compliance, and long-term maintainability

Qualification, Compliance & Validation

- Oversee Design Qualification (DQ), Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) activities. •Ensure full compliance with applicable global regulations and industry standards, including cGMP, WHO GMP, US FDA, EU GMP Annex 1, ISO 14644, ASHRAE, ISPE guidelines, and Positive Engineering Practices (GEP). •Support inspection readiness and regulatory audits across project sites.

Cross-Functional Collaboration





- Partner closely with Quality, Validation, Manufacturing, EHS, Procurement, Automation, Civil, Electrical, and Process Engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution. •Facilitate effective communication, decision-making, and issue resolution among internal and external stakeholders.

Vendor & Contractor Management

- Lead technical evaluations, vendor selection processes, design reviews, FAT/SAT activities, and contractor performance management. •Establish strong partnerships with suppliers and service providers to ensure successful project delivery and quality outcomes.

Operational Excellence & Sustainability

- Drive equipment reliability, preventive maintenance strategies, energy optimization initiatives, and sustainability programs. •Champion continuous improvement practices to enhance operational performance and reduce lifecycle costs.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

- Develop and review engineering documentation including URS, specifications, SOPs, validation protocols, design packages, and project reports. •Ensure complete and compliant project documentation throughout all phases of execution.

Leadership & Capability Building

- Mentor and develop engineering and project teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. •Promote regulatory awareness, engineering excellence, and best practice adoption across global project teams. •
