The Role
As a EDS Coordinator II -SPI and SPEL Administrator with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Administrator is responsible for setup and management of new and existing engineering projects within SmartPlant Instrumentation (SI), SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) in standalone as well in workshare mode.
- SPI SPEL Administration, setup, archive, workshare and replication.
- Troubleshooting SPI SPEL software issue and providing user-support to project resources.
- Application database maintenance activities.
- Continually seeking opportunities to increase end-user satisfaction.
- SPI SPEL Customization required for project deliverable s.
- SPI reports and reference data customization using Infomaker.
- Implement automation tools that will benefit the project deliverable s.
- Utilize SPI SPEL reporting to assist in monitoring design quality and progress.
- Prepare Project specific job notes and provide application training for designers and Admin.
- Gain a full understanding of the scope, overall schedule, deliverables, milestones and coordination procedure.
- Experience with SmartPlant Foundation and integration with data flow between engineering applications.
- Coordinated with multidisciplinary team leads to ensure effective project execution.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Bachelor s Degree / Diploma in Engineering.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience of SPI SPEL Administration.
- In-depth working knowledge of SPI SPEL tools.
- Experience in conducting applications training and user support.
- Knowledge of Engineering workflow in an EPC environment.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills required.
- Working experience of Smart Plant Foundation, Smart PID, Smart Electrical Aveva Instrumentation will be added advantage.
Good to have:
- Writing SQL Queries, Power BI dashboard, custom commands and Visual basic .Net
- Experience in Oil and Gas/Chemical/Petrochemical.
