Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP TM Functional Consultant with 6 to 15 years of experience in Transportation Management to design, implement, and support SAP TM solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong business process knowledge in logistics and supply chain, along with hands-on experience in end-to-end implementations and system integration.

Locations: Pune / Mumbai / Bangalore / Gandhinagar

Key Responsibilities

1. Implementation & Configuration

- Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP TM implementations
- Configure SAP TM modules based on business requirements
- Design scalable and productive transportation management solutions

2. Business Process Expertise

- Analyze client business processes and identify improvement areas
- Provide functional expertise in transportation planning and execution
- Translate business needs into functional specifications

3. Integration

- Ensure seamless integration with:
- SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
- SAP MM (Materials Management)
- SAP EWM or other logistics systems (preferred)

- Work with technical teams on interfaces (CIF, middleware integration)

4. Transportation & Freight Management

- Configure and manage:
- Transportation networks
- Freight Units and Freight Orders
- Carrier selection and tendering
- Charge and cost management

- Handle freight settlement,



invoicing, and cost distribution

5. Order & Planning Management

- Implement:
- Order integration with SAP TM
- Planning profiles and optimizer configuration
- Scheduling and execution processes

6. Master Data Management

- Maintain master data including:
- Business Partners
- Products
- Transportation resources
- Dangerous goods

7. Testing & Support

- Prepare functional specifications and test cases
- Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment
- Track and resolve defects in collaboration with technical teams

Required Skills & Experience

- 6-15 years of overall experience, with strong focus on SAP TM
- Minimum 12 end-to-end SAP TM implementations
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- CIF Integration Models
- Transportation Network
- Freight Unit Building
- Optimizer Configuration
- Order Tendering
- Carrier Determination
- Transportation Charge Management

Preferred Skills

- Experience with S/4HANA Embedded TM
- Knowledge of SAP EWM integration
- Exposure to global logistics processes
- Understanding of Dangerous Goods Management

Soft Skills

- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to lead workshops and client discussions
- Experience in handling UAT sessions and user training

Qualification

- Bachelors degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / IT or equivalent
- SAP certification in TM (preferred)
