Role Overview

The Product Manager Supply Chain Finance (SCF) will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing the complete suite of SCF products including Bill Discounting, Vendor Finance, Dealer Finance, Embedded Channel Finance, and other anchor-led programs. The role involves building the business from scratch, designing processes, enabling technology deployment, driving PL, and ensuring scalable, compliant, and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Chance Identification Market Development

- Identify new business opportunities in bill discounting, vendor financing, dealer financing, anchor-led finance, and embedded channel finance.
- Evaluate industry sectors, supply chain ecosystems, and anchor corporates to build a solid SCF portfolio.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking, market analysis, and risk-return assessment for each SCF product.

2. Product Design Approval

- Conceptualize and design end to end SCF product structures including eligibility, pricing, limits, documentation, workflows, and risk frameworks.
- Prepare product notes, policy documents, and approval proposals for internal committees.
- Ensure all SCF products comply with regulatory guidelines and internal risk policies.

3. Process Set-Up Business Execution

- Design process flows, SOPs, checklists, and operating guidelines for onboarding anchors, suppliers, dealers, and distributors.
- Build scalable acquisition and servicing processes, including TAT management, underwriting logic, and transaction monitoring.
- Ensure seamless coordination with credit, operations, legal, compliance, and collections teams.

Technology Development Digital Enablement

- Drive technology implementation for SCF platforms including onboarding, limit setting, invoice processing, workflow automation, and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with internal tech teams and external fintech partners to build seamless digital journeys.
- Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.

5. Business Set-Up PL Ownership

- Build the SCF business end-to-end, including strategy, acquisition, risk management, product design, and tech integration.
- Take full ownership of the PL, including portfolio growth, revenue generation, cost optimization, and profitability.
- Develop scalable sourcing models including anchor partnerships, DSA/connector network, and digital sourcing.

6. Stakeholder Relationship Management

- Engage with large corporates, anchors, and supply chain ecosystems to drive program-based financing.
- Manage internal stakeholders including sales, credit, operations, legal, compliance, and technology.
- Drive training and capability-building for sales teams and channel partners.

7. Portfolio Risk Management

- Track portfolio quality, early delinquencies, and concentration risks across anchors and sectors.
- Define monitoring frameworks, triggers, and early warning systems.
- Ensure healthy portfolio hygiene and regulatory compliance at all times.
