Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and certified Patient Attendant (TPA) or General Duty Assistant (GDA) to provide dedicated 1-on-1 care for a elderly female patient residing in Mumbai.

The patient is recovering from a health injury and experiences profound fatigue, fluctuating blood pressure, and very limited mobility. We require a calm, compassionate, and alert professional who can keep her protected, comfortable, and well-monitored.

Key Responsibilities:

- Vital Monitoring: Take and record blood pressure (using a digital monitor), oxygen levels, and pulse 3 to 4 times a day. Maintain a neat paper log of these readings for her nephrologist.
- Fall Prevention & Mobility: Provide physical support and direct supervision whenever she stands up, sits, or attempts to walk (high fall risk due to fluctuating blood pressure). Assist with safe transfers to the toilet.
- Medication Management: Ensure all prescribed oral medications are organized and administered at the exact times specified by the doctor.
- Daily Living Assistance: Help with basic hygiene, sponge baths, hair care, changing clothes,



and keeping her immediate room clean and sanitized.
- Emergency Alerting: Immediately recognize and alert the family if her blood pressure drops dangerously low, if she experiences sudden confusion, or if she shows extreme breathlessness.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Certification: Completed GDA (General Duty Assistant), TPA (Trained Patient Attendant), or ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) certificate from a recognized institute (e.g., NSDC / HSSC certified).
- Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in home patient care or hospital wards. Experience with geriatric (elderly) or kidney-patient care is highly preferred.
- Key Skills: Must know how to operate a digital BP machine, count pulse rates, and handle a weak patient safely.
- Language: Must speak Hindi or Tamil to communicate easily with the patient and family.
- Personal Traits: Highly patient, physically capable of supporting an adult's weight while walking, and punctual.
