- M365 consultant
- Microsoft 365 (M365) Consultant plays a dual role as both a technical expert and a strategic advisor, focusing on digital transformation, security posture, and the integration of AI tools like Microsoft Copilot.

Job Summary

- The M365 Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft 365 environments.
- They act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure cloud solutions align with organizational goals, security standards, and user adoption strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Solution Design & Implementation: Architect and deploy M365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune.
- Security & Compliance: Configure security features such as Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) to protect data and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Migration Management: Lead transition projects from on-premises systems or other cloud platforms to M365 using native and third-party tools.
- Automation & Governance: Develop automation for administrative tasks using PowerShell and Power Automate, and establish governance models for lifecycle management.
- Copilot Integration: (Modern Requirement)



Conduct readiness assessments and architect end-to-end integration for Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio.
- Stakeholder Management: Lead discovery workshops, gather business requirements, and present technical roadmaps to non-technical executives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: Typically 3-6+ years of hands-on experience in M365 administration, engineering, or consulting.

Technical Skills:

- PowerShell for scripting and automation./Teams, SharePoint, Exchange).
- Expert knowledge of the core M365 stack (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange).
- Proficiency in PowerShell for scripting and automation.
- Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust principles.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Certifications

- Qualified certifications are highly valued in 2026 to validate specialized expertise:
- MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert
- MS-700: Managing Microsoft Teams
- SC-300: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- PL-900: Power Platform Fundamentals
