Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cypress Automation Tester with strong experience in web application testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, API Testing, and CI/CD integration. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks to ensure software quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform UI, Functional, Regression, Smoke, and End-to-End Testing.
- Automate web application testing using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Execute API testing using Cypress, Postman, or similar tools.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers for resolution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.




- Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing standards.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Cypress Automation Testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Knowledge of Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, JSON).
- Experience with API Testing (REST APIs).
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control.
- Experience with test reporting tools such as Mochawesome or Allure.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Database testing experience using SQL.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Performance testing knowledge is a plus.
