System Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled System Administrator with strong expertise in Linux Administration, Virtualization, Infrastructure Management, Databases, Networking, and Customer Support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing production environments, troubleshooting critical issues, handling customer escalations, and maintaining secure, high-availability infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi/vCenter and Proxmox) Mandatory.
- Configure and manage databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, TimescaleDB, and StarRocks.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Nginx, Apache, and Microsoft IIS.
- Administer storage technologies (SAN, NAS, RAID, LVM).
- Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
- Configure and maintain Docker and Docker Swarm.
- Configure and manage SonicWall hardware firewalls and network security.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco and other network switches, VLANs, trunking, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
- Monitor infrastructure using Nagios, OpManager, or similar tools.
- Perform incident management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and proactive monitoring.
- Automate routine tasks using Bash and Python.
- Handle customer support queries, technical issues, and critical customer escalations.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, system reports, and operational records.
- Plan and execute daily, weekly,



and monthly infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Skills / Willingness to Learn

- Solid hands-on experience with Linux Administration.
- Experience with VMware (ESXi/vCenter) and Proxmox Virtualization.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration & troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Docker and Docker Swarm.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, and exposure to TimescaleDB & StarRocks.
- Hands-on experience with Nginx, Apache, and Microsoft IIS.
- Knowledge of SonicWall hardware firewalls and Cisco switches.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Trunking, and network configuration.
- Experience with SAN, NAS, RAID, and LVM.
- Knowledge of Bash and/or Python scripting.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios and OpManager.
- Exposure to AWS/Cloud Infrastructure, SMTP/Email Infrastructure, and Git/SVN.
- Experience working in high-availability, production environments or a willingness to learn these technologies.
