Role & responsibilities

Location: MIDC, Ambernath (W), Thane, Maharashtra 421505
Department: Quality Control
Reports To: Assistant Manager Quality Control
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

- Chemical Testing & Analysis:
Conduct chemical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using a variety of techniques and instruments
- Documentation & Reporting:
Accurately record and report test results. Prepare and submit regular reports on quality control activities and outcomes to senior management.
- Deviation Investigation & Corrective Actions:
Identify and investigate any deviations from normal results and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaboration & Improvement:
Collaborate with other departments such as production, research and development, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies and procedures.



Promote a culture of safety and quality within the team.
- Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Quality Control Programs:
Participate in the development and implementation of quality control programs and initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:

- Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in quality control within the packaging or manufacturing industry.

- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and packaging standards.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using quality testing equipment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Certifications:

- Certifications in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) are a plus.
