Asst. Manager Manager - SAP FICO Consultant:
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) along with functional exposure to Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7+ years of SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support experience in manufacturing environments.
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring SAP solutions, supporting business users, driving process improvements, and ensuring seamless integration between Finance, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Production functions. Experience in SAP S/4HANA and end-to-end business processes is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities -
SAP FICO Functional Responsibilities
Configure, support, and optimize SAP FICO processes including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Asset Accounting (AA)
Bank Accounting
Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
Internal Orders
Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
Product Costing
Profitability Analysis (COPA)
Month-End and Year-End Closing Activities
Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications (FS), Configuration Documents, and User Manuals.
Conduct system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-go-live support.
Integration & Cross-Functional Responsibilities
Support integration between SAP FICO, MM, PP, SD, and other business modules.
Ensure smooth financial integration of:
Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
Order-to-Cash (O2C)
Record-to-Report (R2R)
Production-to-Finance processes
Manage automatic account determination, valuation, inventory accounting, and production settlement processes.
Support material valuation, standard costing, inventory reconciliation, and variance analysis.
MM & PP Exposure
Understand and support MM processes including:
Procurement
Inventory Management
Goods Receipt / Goods Issue
Vendor Management
Material Master Data
Understand and support PP processes including:
Production Orders
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Routing
Work Centers
Production Confirmation
Cost Settlement
Project & Support Activities
Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
Support SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external consultants.
Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
Support audit requirements, compliance initiatives, and process governance activities.
Contribute to continuous process improvement and SAP best practices.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 7+ years of hands-on SAP FICO configuration and support experience.
Experience in at least 2-3 end-to-end SAP implementation or rollout projects.
Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
