Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including processing vendor payments, handling cash transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The role requires robust attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in handling financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices and prepare timely payments through cash, cheque, bank transfer, or online payment methods.

Verify invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documents before processing payments.

Maintain vendor accounts and reconcile vendor statements regularly.

Handle petty cash and other cash payments in accordance with company policies.

Receive, disburse, and accurately account for cash transactions.

Perform daily cash reconciliation and maintain cash books.

Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documentation.

Record accounting transactions accurately in the accounting system.





Assist with bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances.

Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial records and payment documents.

Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment-related queries.

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documents.

Ensure compliance with company financial policies, statutory regulations, and internal controls.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

25 years of experience in accounting, vendor payments, and cash handling.

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.

Experience with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Role & responsibilities
