Role & responsibilities

- Lead risk-based IT automated controls testing aligned with enterprise audit and IFC strategy
- Evaluate design effectiveness and operating effectiveness of ITACs and IPE controls across SAP and non-SAP systems
- Govern and review deliverables from third-party service providers, ensuring high-quality and timely outcomes
- Build and scale a standardized testing framework to improve consistency, efficiency, and control reliability
- Identify control gaps, assess risk impact, and present actionable insights to leadership
- Partner closely with statutory auditors, IT teams, and business stakeholders
- Drive audit issue remediation and closure tracking across entities under ICoFR
- Use data analytics tools (ACL, IDEA, Power BI, etc.) to enhance testing coverage and insights
- Champion automation, continuous improvement, and control optimization initiatives

Preferred candidate profile

1. Functional Knowledge of Skills (Must Have)

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP automated controls testing across modules
- Solid understanding of audit methodologies, including IPE/IUC validation and completeness & accuracy checks
- Proven ability to apply an analytical,



risk-based audit approach
- Strong planning and execution skills with the ability to meet tight timelines.

- Ability to proactively adapt to evolving regulatory requirements
- Ownership mindset with focus on driving outcomes and resolving issues
- Strong collaboration across IT, Finance, Compliance, and auditors
- Experience in mentoring and guiding teams (direct or outsourced)

3. Educational Qualification

- CA / Postgraduate (or equivalent qualified qualification)
- SAP Certification (e.g., SD, P2P, TRM, PS, ABAP) Preferred/Strong advantage
- Certifications such as CISA / DISA

4. Technical Skill required

- Strong proficiency in SAP environments
- Ability to understand and interpret standard and custom SAP programs

5. Language Proficiency

- Fluent English, excellent written and verbal communication skills

6. Experience Required

Atleast 5+ years in SOX/IFC IT controls testing, particularly SAP automated controls and IPE
