Role & responsibilities

1. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards for Management.

2. Perform variance analysis, cost monitoring, account reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

3. Support month-end closing and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting to senior management.

4. Review general ledger (GL) activities and financial reporting, including: Fixed assets accounting and reporting schedules.

5. Follow the operational processes, procedures, checklists and SoA as specified to perform the GL

Accounting.

6. Review various closing and GL related reports required for closing, reporting and analysis.

7. Prepare MIS reports, notes to accounts, and tax provisions, ensure all statutory, internal audit, and legal compliance requirements are met.

8. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements,



and internal policies

9. Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare forecasted Profit & Loss statements.

Drive automation initiatives in collaboration with Finance, IT, and SAP, RPA teams, cross-functional digital transformation projects to enhance efficiency and cost control.

Education Background :

- Chartered Accountant/ ICWA
- 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or strategic planning roles.
- Prior exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning preferred.
- Experience in SAP enabled setting
- Experience in Shared Services/ BPO would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of manufacturing industries (steel, cement, energy or ports)
