The Head IT is responsible for leading the hospital's technology strategy, digital transformation initiatives, IT operations, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications. The role oversees Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), SAP, Zoho ERP, IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services and vendor management to ensure reliable, secure, and productive technology services that support clinical excellence and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Strategy & Governance

- Develop and implement the hospital's IT roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across all hospital units.
- Establish IT policies, SOPs, and technology standards.
- Prepare and manage annual IT budgets and technology investments.

2. Hospital Information Systems

- Manage implementation and support of HIS, EMR, LIS, PACS, Pharmacy, Billing, and Patient Portal.
- Ensure seamless integration between all clinical and business applications.
- Drive automation of patient care and administrative workflows.

3. ERP Management (SAP & Zoho)

- Lead implementation, administration, and optimization of SAP, Tally and Zoho modules.
- Oversee Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Fixed Assets, CRM, HRMS, Payroll, and Vendor Management.
- Manage ERP integrations with HIS, EMR, and third-party applications.
- Lead ERP migration projects, including SAP-to-Zoho transitions where applicable.
- Ensure data integrity, user access controls, and master data governance.

4. System Integration

- Ensure real-time synchronization between clinical, financial, and operational systems.
- Monitor and optimize interface performance and data accuracy.





5. IT Infrastructure

- Manage servers, virtualization, storage, cloud infrastructure, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Ensure high availability of data centers and business continuity.
- Plan infrastructure upgrades and capacity expansion.

6. Network & Cybersecurity

- Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, and network security.

7. Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

- Ensure compliance with NABH, DPDP Act, healthcare data privacy requirements, and applicable information security standards.
- Support internal and external audits and maintain IT documentation.

8. Vendor & Contract Management

- Evaluate and manage IT vendors, software providers, cloud partners, and system integrators.
- Monitor SLAs, AMCs, software licensing, and support contracts.
- Lead procurement of IT hardware, software, and services.

9. IT Operations & Service Management

- Oversee IT helpdesk operations and ensure timely incident resolution.
- Establish KPIs and SLAs for IT service delivery.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle, software licensing, and change management.

10. Project Management

- Lead end-to-end implementation of IT projects from requirement gathering through go-live and stabilization.
- Coordinate UAT, user training, change management, and post-implementation support.

11. Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

- Develop dashboards and MIS reports for clinical and business stakeholders.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, and analytics capabilities.

12. Team Leadership

- Build, mentor, and manage the IT team.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
