Position: Sr. Manager/AGM - Public Relations (PR)

Job Location: HO, Colaba

Job Purpose:

The position would be responsible for nurturing a strong industry network, increased awareness and develop a desirable corporate image by leveraging a robust media relation network for SPRE (Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate)

KRA:

- Outlining a comprehensive PR plan in line with the strategic business objectives of the company
- Devising detailed PR plans for product launches across cities to amplify the launch announcement
- Leverage a network of skilled PR freelancers for special assignments in select regions
- Undertake corporate profiling exercise by identifying media opportunities in key publications and proposing participations in thought leadership events & panel discussions
- Initiate brand profiling opportunities with leading online and offline publications
- Maintain robust relations with key real estate journalists (Print, TV, and New Media) from select markets (Mumbai, Thane, Pune, NCR, Bangalore, Kolkata etc.)
- Ensure continuous tracking of news, manage online and offline reputation for the company
- Undertake complete responsibility for content creation Encompassing press releases, official quotes, company profiling pages, any social media content support etc.
- Adept at managing crisis; Seeking information before it gets published and preparing balanced media statements




- Offer research support for spokespeople before press conferences / media interviews / media round tables and other media engagements
- Periodically manage reports and publish the same for senior management: Media coverage reports post a media event / announcement, reports on social media team coverage etc.
- Updating all media coverage in a central repository and relevant sections of the corporate websites .

Internal & External Interactions:
Internal: Function Heads - Marketing & Sales, Business Development, Operations, Legal, Architecture
External: PR agencies, social media ORM agencies, PR freelancers, media partners (online and offline)

Education & Experience Requirement:

- Masters degree holder, in mass communication with 15+ years of experience in Real Estate Industry.
- PR experience in both conventional offline mediums as well as new online mediums.
- Proven working experience in public relations required across India
- Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level.
- Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets.
- Experience in acting as a company representative; well networked and skilled in both offline and online media houses
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Solid experience with social media including ORM, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Press engagement / conference planning experience
