*JOB DESCRIPTION*

1. Analyse and interpret large pharmaceutical datasets, including IQVIA, prescription, sales, pricing, claims, and healthcare data across the *US and other regulated markets* , to generate actionable business insights.

2. Conduct comprehensive market assessments for the *US, Canada, Europe* , and other target markets by evaluating market size, growth potential, therapy trends, and competitive intensity.

3. Perform data extraction, cleaning, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of analytical outputs.

4. Develop analytical frameworks and business models to evaluate product attractiveness, market dynamics, competitor positioning, and commercialization opportunities.

5. Support Business Development in portfolio evaluation, product selection, licensing opportunities, and strategic decision-making through data-driven recommendations.

6. Analyse US generic market dynamics, including branded vs. generic competition, market share evolution, launch timing, erosion patterns, pricing trends, and exclusivity opportunities.

7. Monitor ANDA approvals, Paragraph IV filings, patent expiries, exclusivity periods, and competitive intelligence to identify future pipeline opportunities in the US market.

8. Conduct opportunity assessments by integrating market data, regulatory intelligence, patent landscape, and competitive analysis to support new product selection.

9. Prepare periodic MIS reports, business dashboards, KPI trackers, management presentations, and executive summaries for senior leadership.

10. Develop automated dashboards and reporting tools to improve business visibility, reporting efficiency, and decision-making.

11. Interpret IQVIA sales and prescription data to evaluate product performance, market share.

12.



Monitor changes in the competitive landscape, including current product approvals, patent litigation outcomes in regulated markets.

13. Continuously identify opportunities to improve analytical methodologies, reporting processes, and business intelligence capabilities through automation and digital analytics tools.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

1. Bachelors degree in pharmacy (B.Pharm), Life Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

2. 2–6 years of experience in Business Development Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Market Intelligence, or Portfolio Strategy within the pharmaceutical industry.

3. Strong hands-on experience with IQVIA pharmaceutical datasets (sales, prescription, market share, trends, and forecasting) and the ability to generate actionable business insights.

4. Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and portfolio evaluation.

5. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, dashboards) and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting. Good understanding of the US pharmaceutical market, including generic competition, ANDA landscape, patent expiries, exclusivity, pricing, and market dynamics.

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau) is an added advantage

7. Ability to translate complex datasets into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for Business Development and senior management.

8. High attention to detail with strong capabilities in data validation, quality assurance, accuracy, and structured analytical thinking.

9. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Business Development, Regulatory Affairs, R&D;, Commercial, and Finance teams.
