Qualifications and Skills Required

- We are seeking a strategic and hands-on CFO / Head of Finance to lead our financial operations in Vashi.
- You will be responsible for the companys fiscal health, risk management, and operational efficiency.
- While we have a solid preference for candidates from the FMCG industry (due to the high-volume, low-margin nature of the business), we welcome experts from other fast-paced sectors such as Retail, Manufacturing, Pharma, or Consumer Durables.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Stewardship: Lead the end-to-end finance function, including strategic budgeting, MIS reporting, and internal/external audits.
- Fund Raising & Capital Management: Drive the fundraising process by identifying capital requirements, preparing pitch decks/financial models, and managing relationships with banks, NBFCs, or investors to secure cost-effective funding.
- Fund Planning & Structuring: Design and implement optimal capital structures (debt vs. equity); oversee long-term cash flow forecasting and strategic resource allocation to fuel business expansion.
- Taxation & Regulatory Strategy: Manage comprehensive tax planning (Direct & Indirect) to optimize liabilities. Ensure 100% adherence to GST, TDS, Income Tax, and all statutory filings/assessments.




- Operational Cash Management: Manage liquidity and working capital cycles. For FMCG candidates, this includes a heavy focus on SKU turnover; for others, a focus on inventory optimization.
- Revenue Growth Management: Analyze pricing models, trade margins, and distribution costs to maximize overall profitability.
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a core business partner to the Director, providing data-driven insights to help scale operations and implement tight cost controls.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; CA-Inter or MBA in Finance.
- Experience: 712 years of progressive experience in finance management, with a proven track record in tax planning and fund management within an SME or growth-stage environment.
- Industry Preference: Primary: FMCG/CPG (understanding of primary/secondary sales and distribution networks). Secondary: Manufacturing, Retail, or Pharma.
- Technical Skills: Strong analytical mindset, proficiency in ERP systems, and deep knowledge of Indian Tax laws and banking/funding instruments.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead high-stakes negotiations with financial institutions.
