Product Vision & Strategy

Own and define the long-term vision, roadmap, and strategy for the K-12 Virtual Education Platform in alignment with

TimesPros goals.

- Deeply understand the needs of diverse stakeholdersstudents, educators, administratorsand define role-specific

journeys and feature sets.

- Benchmark and adapt global EdTech and adjacent-industry innovations for the Indian context.

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

- Translate vision into actionable product features, wireframes, and functional documents.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of product development—concept, design, build, test, deploy, iterate.
- Prioritize features and enhancements using customer insights, data, and business impact.

UI/UX Excellence

Champion intuitive and inclusive design by collaborating with UX/UI teams to create a delightful user experience for all

user categories.

- Ensure accessibility, multilingual support, and mobile-first design principles are embedded from the start.

Cross-functional Leadership

Collaborate closely with vendor partners for development, engineering, QA, content, academic, and government liaison

teams.

- Act as a bridge between business and tech—ensuring delivery of features as per design and user expectations.

Data & AI/ML Integration

Work with data science teams to embed AI/ML-based features such as personalized learning paths, content

recommendation engines, and performance analytics.

- Define KPIs and metrics to measure usage, engagement, learning outcomes, and platform performance.

Platform Scalability & Innovation

- Design the product for scale, agility,



and modularity—enabling it to grow across geographies and educational institutions.

Explore integrations with third-party learning tools, IoT classroom devices, and satellite-based delivery mechanisms (in

collaboration with the technology head).

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field. Master's degree (MBA, Product

Management Certification) is a plus.

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in digital product development with at least 3 years in EdTech (K-12) or Education

Platforms preferred.

- Proven experience in designing and delivering successful SaaS or digital platforms with multi-user personas.

Strong grounding in UI/UX principles, wireframing tools (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.), and agile product development

methodologies.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Deep understanding of education workflows, classroom dynamics, and institutional needs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, analytics tools, and AI/ML applications.
- Robust analytical skills and user-first mindset.
- High ownership, attention to detail, and a passion for building impact-driven products.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience building platforms for EdTech (K-12) or learning management systems.
- Exposure to government-led education initiatives or experience building solutions for large public sector rollouts.
- Familiarity with VSAT, networking technologies, or smart classroom IoT integrations is a plus
