The Regulatory Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing, validating, and submitting accurate regulatory reports in compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
The role ensures timely reporting, data accuracy, and adherence to evolving regulatory frameworks.
Regulatory Reporting
Prepare and submit regulatory reports (e.g. RWA Calculation & Reporting, Leverage Exposure, Unfunded Exposure)
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and deadlines
Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and implement updates
Data Management & Validation
Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems
Perform reconciliations between financial, risk, and regulatory data
Identify and resolve data discrepancies
Analysis & Controls
Analyze report outputs and investigate variances
Maintain strong internal controls and audit documentation
Support internal and external audits
Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and IT teams
Communicate regulatory changes and reporting impacts
Process Improvement
Identify automation opportunities and improve reporting processes
Support system enhancements and regulatory reporting tools implementation
Key Skills & Competencies
Solid understanding of Basel regulations- RWA calculations
Knowledge of Treasury, Liquidity, and Risk concepts
Proficiency in Excel (advanced), SQL or data tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and stakeholder management
Qualifications
Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
CA / CFA / FRM (preferred)
Preferred Experience
Experience with Basel III frameworks
Exposure to ALM, liquidity reporting, CCR, or market risk
Familiarity with reporting tools (Axiom, Moodys, SAS, etc.)
